“Through the Women Moving Women campaign, we have an unprecedented opportunity to make a real and lasting impact on the economic lives of 2500 Canadian women and their families. The fact that this can be done with a modest financial contribution of $41.70 a month is unbelievably compelling to me, and it is why I have chosen to be a contributor and a leader in this campaign.”

"I've had some great opportunities throughout my life, partially because of support from women who were willing to give of their time. I was looking for a way to give back and found out about "Women Moving Women" and knew it was the right choice for me. And I'm very glad I did."

"From the moment I heard about the Women Moving Women campaign, I have been inspired by the incredible opportunity to support 2500 women in Canada. When I think about the fact that I can contribute just $41.70 a month and have a positive affect on women and their families, as well as young girls from all races and cultures across this country I am honoured to be involved in the initiative."

“Every woman has a talent and deserves a chance to succeed and feel confident in building a better future. I wanted to be a part of an organization that can provide those opportunities. I embrace this opportunity with passion and enthusiasm as I believe in the positive impact we all can make in a woman’s future.”

“The fact that 2500 women could literally change the course of the lives of 2500 women with only $2500 shows the power of sisterhood. The only other essential ingredient is that we believe anything is possible. Then we can literally watch it unfold before our eyes".

"For some time I have been looking for a way to do something meaningful to give back to the community, to make a difference, and to recognize in the process just how lucky I am. When Women Moving Women came along, I knew I had found a special way to make an impact. Women Moving Women helps make a difference for women immediately, but also helps address a longer term problem with sustainable, proactive change. When we change the life of a women, we change the lives of her children, breaking a perpetual cycle of issues. I am privileged to be a part of Women Moving Women, and excited by the huge difference that a small effort on our part can make."

"I have always believed in the power of women supporting each other - the sisterhood of women. As soon as I learned about the "Women Moving Women" campaign, I was ready to commit my time and resources. This is an opportunity to expand the vision of sisterhood across Canada and make a real difference in the lives of 2500 women and their children with a donation of $2500. It amazes me to think that we can create a legacy of over $6 Million dollars that will directly benefit those most in need in our country. I have been very privileged to have had the opportunity to come to Canada as an immigrant from Ghana and to be able to accomplish many of my professional and personal goals. Along the way, I have benefited from the wisdom and experience of a number of women who have mentored and supported me. The "Women Moving Women" campaign is a way for me to give back and to honour the sisterhood."

"I am a very fortunate woman who lives and practices in Northern Ontario and I am very pleased to be able to contribute to the Women Moving Women campaign.  I am supporting this endeavour because a very "moving" woman encouraged me to to so and because I hope to assist the Canadian Women's Foundation in fulfilling its mandate for the benefit of women and girls throughout Canada."

I have been very fortunate to follow on the heels of great women who broke down barriers to allow me to achieve anything I’ve wanted. I’m also fortunate to work for an organization that has been a leader in the advancement of women in the workplace. When I think about all that I’ve achieved (and all that I still want to achieve), I reflect with gratitude and realize it’s time to give back. When I learned about Women Moving Women, the concept struck a chord with me and I became an advocate of the grass-roots approach to getting the word out. It’s amazing to be part of a movement of women who want to make a life changing impact on women in their community. I have been inspired by the people I’ve met through Women Moving Women and am proud to be in their company.

I have been active with women's issues since the late 1980's and I am also a single Mom who raised my son on my own. As such, I was surprised that I hadn't heard of the great work being done by the Canadian Women's Foundation until I was in Las Vegas last summer. When I looked into it more I was astonished to learn that Rosemary Brown was one of the founding mothers. This brought it closer to home for me because my mentor had been mentored herself by Rosemary Brown. I was fortunate to have met Rosemary on several occasions and was always inspired by her passion. I became very motivated and have been spreading the word in BC. I'd like to challenge you to support the Women Moving Women campaign with your energy and your money and help more women and their children build healthy, happy lives for themselves.
